SpaceandTimeDB is shaking things up by democratising and decentralising access to data, putting control back in the hands of the people. Space and Time (SxT) is a decentralized data warehouse that connects on-chain and off-chain data. Why? Because you shouldn't have to trust a database.

SxT started strong by patenting "Proof of SQL". This allows returning query results and cryptographic proof that the data was untampered and the query was executed in a verifiably accurate way.
DeFi is advancing rapidly but handling data is still a challenge. SpaceandTimeDB solves this by allowing off-chain data access and computation through Chainlink, bringing results back on-chain for trade decisions.
Another use case is Web3 gaming, by creating new opportunities for developers to offer in-game incentives and create never-before-seen interactivity between smart contracts and gaming servers. e.g creating much more accurate and specific analytics and telemetry, and creating much more complex and sophisticated logic schemes, previously constrained by "traditional" Web3 gaming bound to only using blockchains.
Last but not least SxT can also help Web2 enterprises make the jump to Web3.
The SQL interface will be familiar to Web2 companies but underneath it will be underpinned by a series of decentralised clusters, that anybody could spin up.
Think of it as a sleeper car, the body of a classic 80s car but with a brand-new chassis and engine under the hood.
This way onboarding non-Web3 companies will be made simpler and in a more familiar way. Clearly, Chainlink and SxT have many goals in common as well as the same philosophy of Truth over Trust. That's why SxT was one of the first protocols to join the BUILD program.
